You guys know the resource thread? Well you know how the resource mod has to look over every plugin/build etc well we should get to do the same for ebooks. Make the ebooks have to go into the resource area then a staff member has to look it over before it is public and if it is good then they can make it public. That way nobody will get scammed, or if someone says something about it and it is a lie then the staff member can delete the resource.

There wouldn't be a way to test if the information in each is correct as it would be way too time consuming and overall it just isn't worth it.

If you don't want to get scammed, don't buy any ebooks because most of them are common knowledge or a leaked method with a bunch of unneeded text + pictures added to make it look like you didn't get ripped off.

Ones expectations of an ebook might be different from the other, meaning the resource manager might think it's not common knowledge, but the buyer does.

It's not our job to your homework for you. We review builds, plugins, and other resources because they could potentially contain malicious code and we want to make sure that users aren't compromised or harmed in any way by malicious activity. For something like eBooks, while we could review them, our opinion will very well differ from someone else's and this is just another way for MC-Market to get in the way of sellers selling their products and potential buyers buying said products.

If you're going to consider buying an eBook, you need to do your own homework. MC-Market shouldn't have to do it for you. You can ask other people that may have purchased the eBook. You can ask the seller why they should buy the eBook. If you aren't satisfied with what you see, don't buy the eBook. It's not that hard. Stop being lazy.

That's stupid though. Most people know by now that most e-books are basically bullshit. It's the consumer's choice to buy them. If they don't want to buy them then that's their choice. They should still be allowed. And once in a while you see a good method like Tilt's domains. I agree that they shouldn't have to go through resources though. That's just retarded.

An increased amount of scam reports and drama isn't worth allowing it. After seeing what happened with amaraone's method as well as aschorren's ebook, I'd rather not have that happen again.

So we are allowed to sell them?
As long as it conforms to the rules, terms and conditions we've set. Specifically, this one.
5.7 Do not sell any electronic books or other media that encourages “black-hat”, money-making, or any activities that may be considered objectionable on MC-Market. Staff members may moderate any such items that you may offer on MC-Market to ensure that it complies with these Rules, the TOS, and applicable law.
