Edit a plugin for me for cheap/free discord: satix#7952

So my request has to deal with the companions plugin:

What I need is a small addition to the companions plugin. It should not take very long. This has been requested by many people but the developer, Astero, has no time to work on it.
So the plugin is basically pets, and each pet gives you potion effects/abilities when equipped. What I need tweaked is the potion effects part. The developer of the plugin made it so that you can only have the same potion level if you have multiple potion effects. Lets say I equipped the Knight companion (pet). I would get Speed 1, Resistance 1. I want to be able to get SPEED 2, resistance 1. You are able to change the level of the potion effects but they will both go up/down. I am able to get Speed 2, Resistance 2, by setting the potion effects to level 2 in the config, which is not good for me. I need to be able to set individual potion effect levels to achieve Speed 2, Resistance 1 on a single companion. This should have been added when the plugin first came out.

My server version is spigot 1.8.8, and I use ViaVersion to achieve 1.8.8-1.16.4+

I don't think that what you're requesting is possible, considering that to implement a feature you would need to change the source code of the plugin, which is not public. You could, in theory, externalize the potion effect features, but that would be unreliable.
Your best chance is to ask the dev to implement the feature.
