Unfortunately, this Christmas came with a few presents which we would rather not receive. However, we have received them and due to this, we have determined that it is best to force all Premium and Supreme members to enable two-factor authentication. We want to assure you that we did not do this to be a pain to you in any way. Rather, it is for the security of our members and for MC-Market as a whole.

After over a year of being a staff member on MC-Market, Jesse has stepped down from his moderation duties.

We have a brand new set of rules coming out on January 1st, which will be massively improved and much more clear and concise. More information about this will be coming soon.

Anyone upset about the 2-factor authentication should direct their anger towards Ew, rather than staff. I know a lot of people here idolize him but he really is nothing more than an immature little brat. If you think hacking other member's accounts is cool and funny, you probably shouldn't be on this website. Ew's displays on Twitter are very, very pathetic and childish and I encourage anyone who thinks that he is a "cool guy" to go look at the way he was acting a week or two ago, flooding his Twitter feed with "Dark Tumblr" retweets and other lame things like that after his girlfriend broke up with him. He also admitted to doing very, very despicable things that border on rape.

This is ultimately necessary to secure accounts from this menace. If you want this to go away, then stop supporting this asswipe and stop giving him attention, because that's what he thrives off of and it's all he really wants.

I do believe that more options should be added for the two-factor authentication, though, if it's to be a necessity from now on. A text option would be great.

You could've phrased this a lot differently. I was recently hired by MC-Market as a system administrator, which is a job I would much rather enjoy than anything else on the site. Unfortunately that's something you didn't mention nor even asked for.
