Requested the user make a bot for me, he was responsive up until I handed him the old source code. Never asked for payment, never gave a quote. He left the ticket open so I assumed he was working on the project, 2 months or more went by without a single message or update even when asked. Complete waste of time, ended up leaving the server.

Hi Dream Escrow,

I appreciate the feedback, but I’d like to clear up a few things for accuracy.

I did provide a quote of $120, but no payment was ever made, and without that, no formal work was initiated. You were told there would be an update, but nothing was locked in or delivered to move forward. I agree that I should’ve followed up more clearly once the quote was sent and things stalled, and I apologize for not closing that loop.

Going forward, I’ll be more proactive in setting clearer boundaries and timelines so these misunderstandings don’t happen again.
