Does anyone know how to use the plugin? Or is the plugin very simple to use?

yes, it overrides the default world generator. so if you are starting with a new server delete your world folder and it will auto generate a new one with EWG. if however you already have a server set up and want a new world you will have to use this command (assuming that you are using multiverse) /mv create <world name> normal.

You can also preload all the chunks in the world which i recommend.
How do I pre-generate a world?
Download the world border plugin, http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/worldborder/. Type /wb set <radius> and then do /wb fill.
