like on servers you see the >> but smaller and combined. What do i put in my essentials chat to get it working?

I'm pretty sure you copy and paste it from online: "≪" and "≫"

Where it says "format: '<{DISPLAYNAME}> {MESSAGE}'" Just paste it where ever you want there.
