Iv got a essentials config and groupmanager config that I'm willing to give to people in return all i ask for is $2 
The essentials config has kits setup for a regular factions server, iv set up the chat so it works with factions so you can customise how chat looks and have colored text when talking.

In essentials config it looks like this:
To get this to work you need to edit the factions config, i can tell you how if you don't know.
The groupmanager groups.yml file consists of
1 default group
4 donor ranks
YouTube rank
Trial-mod
Moderator
Mod+
Admin
Builder
Owner
Co-owner
they are all carefully configured for a balanced community.
I use a plugin on my server called maxbans so all staff permissions are configured for that if you are just using essentials as a punishment plugin then in the permissions change maxbans for essentials for example: maxbans.ban would be changed to essentials.ban.
