Hey guys, so last night I took into making some stuff and I've ran into a problem with the chat formatting. Here is my issue as you can see " http://prnt.sc/f80gvm " It is <[Mod]DefoNot]> Now, I want to get rid of those nasty <> But I can't.. I've went into the essentials config and went to the chat and it will not go away even after a reload ofc.. http://prnt.sc/f80hen.. Can anyone help?

Have you tried a restart rather than a reload? may sound stupid but that can sometimes fix things.

Yeah, I've tried alot of things to be honest, Ant nothing is fixing it I was local hosting but I even bought a server lmao to see if there was that issue but nope,

Here's what fixed mine: I had two Essentials .jars (Essentials.jar and Essentials2.jar). Do you only have one?

Yeah, I only have one installed.

Not sure tbh, all I could say is possibly look into permissionsex permissions with prefixs and such

Change this format: '{Displayname}: {message}' to format: '{DISPLAYNAME}: {MESSAGE}'
