Essentials Issue

Hey, I was wondering if anyone could help me fix this issue with Essentials that doesn't allow me to fix any items and when I try to it says "This item cannot be repaired". Does anyone know a solution to this problem that I have or is it something in the config that I need to fix. Is there a plugin do I need?

Please help me by replying the steps to fix this.

What version of essentials and spigot?

I'm using 1.8.8 and the Essentials is version 2.15.0.1

Try using a more updated version maybe, it's over a year old. Does it only happen if the items have lores?

What item are you trying to repair? If you're trying to repair something like a dirt block the that would be the message you see. Are all your permissions correct?
