Established Servers Verification

there should be some sort of verification for people to sell servers in the “Established Server” section. These days you can’t really find anything “established” in there. If it’s good enough to be sold in that section, there shouldn’t be a problem with a verification.

After all, that’s why there is the remade section.

"Established servers" is for selling an active server with a userbase, exclusively.

There are no requirements for how long it has been since the server was initially launched, or how well known its name must be. I would assume that’s what you’re referring to when you say the servers listed in the section aren’t very "established".

With our only requirements for "establishment" being that it’s active and has a userbase, verifying this is something that anyone viewing the thread can do simply by connecting to the server, correct? Which I would hope any prospective buyer would do before making a purchase.

I think it would be best if we made this section similar to the resources. It’s gotta get verified first before going public.

Ultimately large or very well established servers aren't typically sold on MCM, so adding a section exclusively for these types of servers would only get a handful of posts into it each year, which is hardly worth separating it out for no reason. Adding more manual moderation isn't ideal because the increased workload for our staff simply wouldn't be worth it, staff aren't here to do your due diligence for you when buying a product.

Established servers are for servers that have been released, and I don't see a reason to make our requirements any more strict than that.
