I was just wondering, say there was a random hosting company and a user bought a plan and started using the software and services. Then the user who bought the service chargebacked, is it allowed to leak their sensitive information as I have seen companies / people do this sort of stuff.

Note: I do not own any company, I just thought of this.

Uh what companies would literally dox their former clients just because they issued a chargeback?

I've seen it happen with individuals, if a client purchases with goods and services and abusing shopify or selly (forget which) ip purchase feature to ddos clients who chargeback.

No; the doxing of any user, regardless of whether they scammed or not, is not allowed and will get you banned.

As for whether it's ethical in the purest sense is debatable, but it's essentially the same "an eye for an eye" type of argument.
