MC-Market was opened on the 1st of August 2014 by myself, with the aim to bring something that wasn't there to the community and on the 18th of September 2015 - I am parting from Minecraft community, which includes leaving MC-Market.

This has been in discussion for months and haven't enjoyed what I've been doing much and that has been visible to many members on MC-Market which is why this is a positive thing. I consider MC-Market an incredible experience for me, I started the website when I was 14 and am leaving now I am 16 to pursue other interests in radio and photography.

A lot of members have asked me who will be taking over my place, and the answer to that is Mick and I wish him the best. He will do a brilliant job, and all the plans for additions and everything I know has been passed on to him.

To make this post less negative, there have already been some changes including the addition of
  • Supreme Upgrade
  • K3Feedz as a Moderator
  • Teamspeak server
  • Accounts Sub-Forum changes
  • Shoutbox re-added, with archiving
  • Writer applications closed, ready for reviewing
  • We will be re-enabling registration on Monday
  • MC-Admin.org is open for registration


Payments for MC-Market will continue to be sent to me for a short while whilst Mick is set up and made comfortable, however I do not own MC-Market anymore.

Hurray for Mick! I am glad that someone of such upstanding moral character is taking the site! Out of all the moderators, nobody deserves it more than Mick and noone has been consistently fair and on the ball in all of his dealings moreso than him. While we've had issues with almost everyone else on the site, Mick is the one moderator who we've never had any problem with and I believe that he will make a great owner! I am also glad the mantle passed to one of the current moderators rather than a stranger. That will be much better for the future. This is a great day for MC-Market - no, it's a great day for the entire world!

Heh.. It's cute and all but not really the place to talk about this. I have no relevancy in the topic in discussion so it's actually just Mick in this case (and Verringer of course).

Anyway, a bit of a speech for my friend departing and one for the one taking the baton.

Hey Administrator . It's been awesome getting to know you through your time on MCM (and some moments beforehand.. Flappy Duck ftw). Seriously can't thank you enough for everything you've done for me and for these forums. I know that often you feel your work is under-appreciated but without your decisions, the community wouldn't be where it is at now. Whatever you work on next, I really hope success follows you through. You've made a real impact and been a large influence to many. Peace friendo. I'll see you on the other side. ;)

Yo Yo Mick -ay Dee. Congrats on your position. I know that you'll do a great job leading MCM through- Verringer has made a great decision as to who to pass leadership down to. Observing how Mick has taken action in the past at times most needed and how he's handles different situations in a mature and orderly manner is the reason why I feel that there was noone more ideal to take over these forums. Good luck, although with your traits- I doubt you'll need it. :)

Administrator you've been a great owner/founder. Your human, everyone makes mistakes.

I'm extreamly sad to see you leave and wish you the best of luck with whatever you plan to move on to in the future. However you've done more than enough for MC-Market and I feel you should be able to do what you wish such as leaving. I know Mick will do a great job. :)

not every beginning has an end. Will there ever be an end to physics? Theoretically you will never reach 0 degrees kelvin (The coldest temperature in the universe) because even the smallest particles will have movement.
