Hello MCM!

Today I am selling my HCF server that I have worked on for quite a while now, it comes with the server files, fully custom core as well as the domain (Divine.rip). I will help you set it up when you purchase, such as setting up the A and SRV records to point the domain the the IP and any issues you may come across. If you would like to see the server now, you can connect to it for a limited amount of time @ divine.rip or 192.99.106.36:25649 (1.7.10)

HCF is too, maybe mini games?
I might move over to KitPvP/Duel servers. I have one in my PC that is real old, but 100% setup, and just needs some updates to it to be ready, plus they are not to hard to grow, just need to get some good PVP related youtubers.

Team Speak is not even needed, and a lot of hosts offer it for free, so you can make it 80$ a month, and a server trailer isn't needed but would be suggest.

I have never ran a HCF server before, so I am just trying to get an idea. Do slots work good for these types of servers, or is a youtuber the best way to go?

If you've never ran a HCF server, it's gonna be tough. Trust me, I have experience :p

I'll tell you what you'll need to lets say get a good 100 players on SOTW (Not including keeping that playerbase alive).

DDOS Protection (Proxypipe) 100+ mo. There are many cheaper alternatives but please do not rely on your host's provided protection. Most of them are shit.

Hosting (Dedi) 60 + mo. I really wouldn't recommend using a cheap vps to run a server especially if you're expecting 100 players on. But i've never tried to run a server using a vps so I may be wrong.

Advertising (200 +) Trailer uploads from youtubers are quite expensive. From last month here are the rundowns of prices (They are probs higher now). Haxusate ($110), cbrady350 ($75), tory ($100), vallerion ($90), imake ($80 as of May 15th). As you can see, ads are kinda expensive. These are youtubers I feel would be the most effective. Don't bother with those 1k youtubers. (My opinion)

Buycraft as stated by the op ($9.99)

Teamspeak hosting (5 - 10) you're gonna need a decent ts. Preferably one that fits more than 5 players. I would recommend something with at least 30 slots as there's bond to be a lot of players requesting support.

In the end, to be more realistic, you're going to have to spend somewhere near 300 dollars to run a successful hcf server. Even with all this, there's still a big risk that you won't profit. In all honestly, the amount of competition and ad prices are too ridiculous.

Note these are all my opinions so don't take offense <3 just tryna help out a guy with what I know.
