ABOUT US

ExodusMC is a 5 gamemode network that I myself, with one other owner have been working on my many months. The 5 gamemodes are Prison, Factions, Skyblock, Skywars, and KitPvP. We boast amazing custom builds, and TONS of custom plugins, mainly on prison. We hope to bring the best quality experience to our players!

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR​

We're looking for someone who can manage/run ExodusMC. We need someone who is willing to manage, develop, and moderate the network. Dedicated is a huge role.

Your role will include:​

​

• Attending to server issues​
• Attending to server gameplay bugs and working with developers to ensure there are no issues.​
• Attending staff meetings and managing the existing staff team.​
• Assisting in plugin configurations and server setups.​
• Handling admin/staff tasks.​

OUR EXPECTATIONS​

​

• Experience with server administration, managing a small community​
• Decent experience with ubuntu and managing servers. (We also have a sys-admin, so you'd just need to know the basics.)​

• Must be committed, motivated, and dedicated (at least 2-4 hours daily, exceptions can be made.)​
• Strong work ethic​
• Good communication skills and grammar.​
• Must also be willing to be part of the server community, by being actively involved on our website/forums and communicating with players in game.​
• Must be able to handle frustration​
• Must be willing to learn new things​
• Must be able to pitch in $100+ each month. (exceptions can be made)​
• Must have decent server development skills.​

NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS​

• Experience with Bukkit, and Java development​
• 13+ years old.​
• EST timezone or not too far away.​

This is work that people (such as myself) get paid to do. We don't pay to do the work. I was interested up to the point where you stated that you needed someone to pitch in money.

Sorry for any confusion. This is kind of like a partnership. You own the server with me, we do it together. It's kind of like any staff postion. I don't pay admins or moderators but they get the rank in return. I was kind of hoping the same thing here, you don't get paid, but you get the ownership of the server. This is for people that are interested in owning a server, but need a start. Hope this clears things up a bit.

If we have the skills, and the time, then why pay you $100/month to put us to work?

How about I just go rent a dedicated for $100/month and open up my own server to compete with yours?
(Which I'm not doing, just saying.)

Sounds more like you need an investor than a Co-Owner.
Or sell the server.

Plus he would take 50% of the profit if you were to make his server + invest in it.
