Hello MCM community!

I've been playing this game for almost 7 straight years now, and I've worked for many small build teams in the past. My part time is not supplying enough money for me to make it through college at the moment, so I'm looking to build for someone. I offer low prices depending on the size and style of the build.

I have been building seriously for about 5 of the 7 years I've been on this game, and I believe that I have some real talent. I'm going to school to be an Architect and Landscape Architect, so this is a relevant passion.

If you're interested in my help, hmu

My old portfolio (because I need to start building again to add new examples):

PebbleHost
High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Why should someone hire you over someone else who has higher reputation than you?

I don't suppose there's any objective reason to do so other than any impressions my portfolio made on interested parties. I don't think there's any reason to entirely dismiss me because I'm new. Everyone has to start somewhere.

I would recommend you do some vouch copies before you start asking for money. Also by doing vouch copies you can earn reputation on MC Market.

Thanks for the advice. It's impossible to know the rules and recommended procedures of a forum when you're brand new. Again, I do appreciate the concern.

I have been building seriously for about 5 of the 7 years I've been on this game,

Some Notes On Claiming Experience/Wanting to Build For Money/Advice:
  • There are people with Portfolio's much more developed in a professional manner those people are experienced as they do this as essentially a part time job/business or free-lance.
    , , ,
  • Experience would mean you have experience building for servers/people/mapmakers/or content creators, if so can you please reference any clients you may have serviced, if your experience is based on building just for fun and not for anyone, then mention that.
  • Portfolio: You have about 5+ build pictures for the smallest of builds, and you have many components, unfinished works, and such which really shouldn't be in a "Portfolio". The purpose of a portfolio is to impress the person looking at it showcasing your skills, presentation, and ability to work in multiple areas, if this were a job portfolio/resume, you'd essentially be saying "I'm an architecture major" like 9 different times/ways. People get it after 1-2 times you mention it. The F1 Key (F1) puts you in a "full screen" viewing mode then hit F2, this will automatically get rid of your Hotbar and the image save message you have showing up in your shots. It's pretty easy though if you need help learning how to do this PM me.
  • In continuation of the bullet point above: Based on your affordability, you have to invest in yourself to become more professional in any hopes of making money from it. Renders -> Shaders -> Texture Packs -> Regular Default Screenshots. These are ranked in terms of affordability, not in terms of what's better or not. Though look into it.
  • Professionalism/Presentation is key to making any sort of impression on any potential client, if you see other teams posts they use Thread Designs or detailed posts. I'd take like 30 minutes or less and make a detailed post about yourself, what you can do, your portfolio (hopefully after you've revamped it), your pricing for things (base/rough prices), and how long it takes you to build that stuff, then lastly your contact information weather that's Skype/discord or MCM PM's. You should tell people how they should contact you.
  • Offer small vouch copies, KOTH's or something to grow your presence on this forum considering you are new.

I'm not trying to make any rude remarks, hopefully everything came out constructively, not rudely, but if anything did seem rude, I apologize.
