Experienced Java Developer

AuraSide is looking for an Experienced Java Developer, we are a company planning to make multiple products related to gaming and esports. The CEO is a seasoned developer himself, he has worked as a professional web app developer since the age of 16 (now 22), he has also worked at ESL and been involved in gaming/esports from a young age. We already have a full-time Software Engineer (specializing in web and javascript), who has been working on our first product https://ghast.io which has been very successful so far and we have big things planned for the future of the product. The Java Developer we are looking for will be working on another project we have called Minecraft PvP League, it will first launch as a high-quality practice server and then add unique and exciting game modes after that.

We are looking for someone who can dedicate full time to this project, but we are also open to part-time depending on the candidate. This will be a long term position with stable monthly payments. We favor candidates over 18 but will consider everyone.

- Good English and Communication Skills
- Mature and Responsible

Bonus skills:
- Minecraft mod/clientside development
- JavaScript

I don’t mind where the developer is based but they need to have a good overlap with GMT timezone, hopefully at least 4 hours overlap.

We have a relaxed management style but will keep regular communication and you should also provide a progress update daily. Apart from that, we can communicate about tasks and features mostly over discord messages but we can always jump on a call to discuss things.

A youtuber spoke out against the product saying it was a scam but he provided no proof or evidence, and he had never tried the product. I’d prefer to keep this thread off of the topic of ghast.io though.

I am the CEO, I wrote the post as third person since it is being posted on multiple platforms. Didn’t mean to confuse anyone. Ideally full time so 40 hours a week, 160 hours a month. We are open to part time applicants too though.
