Explain what a server core is

My friend has no idea what a server core is, and I don't know how to explain it

And ideas?

And how much it would cost to make a core for a server based on the game "Catan"
And how long it will take when you have no expierance and when you do have experiance

Hey Ivel, first I'd suggest that you go into some detail about "Catan" yourself (like the basics) as I doubt people would google instructions, etc, as it's a big game.

As for your experience question, you shouldn't undertake such big project if you have small or no experience at all, and you shouldn't hire someone if they don't have experience because it would just be waste of time and money.

As for the "core", it really depends per server, a "core" can mean just a gamemode or in general a plugin that handles a really big chunk of the server.

essentially, it's most of the server essentials and extras packed into one plugin. Like a hub core for example - many features inside and it's one plugin.
