It has come to my attention that more and more users are using the F&F option when participating in transactions on MCM.

Honestly, I believe that MCM shouldn't accept/back scam reports if the transaction was Friends & Family. 99.99% of the sales/transactions on here should be Goods & Services.

Let me know your honest opinion about this, I'd love to hear it!

I strongly disagree on this. It saves on fees.

Furthermore, wouldn't you need a business account?

True many people starts a "business" yet don't act like a business. If your going to do business you may as well use a payment option FOR it.

Yes. Also, 99.99% of the users on this forum are under the age of 18. These people have adult accounts and are supposed to have a "teen" account. This is breaking PayPal's TOS.

Friends and Family may save fees but it literally takes seconds to calculate fees with thefeecalculator.com + the fee is small relative to the quantity of your payment.

Paypal does not legally allow chargebacks on Friends and Family, and it seems the only way to win F&Fs is by using VPNs and claiming to paypal you were hacked... This is illicit and claiming fraud...

Its kind of like crashing your car intentionally to claim money from your insurance to buy a new car (not sure the details of how this works, but bear with me with this analogy)

^ That should be illegal, I mean you totaled your car to get money back to buy a new one, or have extra cash, claiming someone else crashed it or something.

No, as people like to use F&F so they don't have to worry so much about chargeback. Making it so only G&S deals are accepted would ruin mcm for me and I'd assume others. Maybe as my deals are F&F most of the time i have a bigger issue with this compared to most people.
If you list logical better reasons for using F&F over G&S besides fees, than perhaps we'd listen...

Goods and services with virtual items is a sure way to get screwed over by chargebacks. That's the whole reason behind using Family and Friends.

We can't just deny someone of a scam report just because they used a certain way to pay. Off site deals like on Skype shouldn't be supported as logs can be forged, but it still is supported because we can't just not help someone who got scammed.

What does this accomplish? Why does it matter to anyone else the way people get paid/pay for their transactions? People use F&F because PayPal's policies are completely idiotic and they always side with the buyer no matter what the case is. Getting paid with F&F at least somewhat reduces the chance that you'll be fucked over by a chargeback. It also eliminates the inconvenience of PayPal's stupid fees. Paying with goods and services makes it easier for the buyer to chargeback if they are scammed by the seller, but if a seller is paid through G&S and the buyer charges back, the seller is fucked because PayPal refuses to even read proof you provide.

Since when does paypal always side with buyers? I provided proof that a dev scammed me (MazterMind) and they denied even though I sent through G&S. If enough proof is provided, the seller can win... F&F is dangerous for buyers.

There is millions of people under 18 using PayPal :/ honestly I don't think PayPal cares too much.. I've had a PayPal account since 2011 and I was only 9 years old and it haven't been deleted or limited

In some cases it's possible, but for the most part PayPal sides with buyers. Their policies are horrible.

Here are just a few examples of PayPal screwing over sellers. There are thousands of others you could find with a Google search.

Even if you managed to win a dispute as the seller, there are lots of times when other people can't. This site should not be telling them how to pay/get paid for products they are selling. Maybe if PayPal had better policies and wasn't so eager to fuck over their users I would agree with this, but that isn't happening any time soon.

I completely agree with this. PayPal's policies are horrid, and need fixing.

That doesn't really mean that people need to break the PP TOS though.

That's exactly what it means. If they're not going to take care of their customers, then they have no right to expect us to follow their policies. If receiving money through F&F will make it less likely for me to be scammed, then I'm going to continue using it.
