A local ISP in my area offers 1gbps internet and is the only company doing it and most likely will be the only one for the next 10 years. We ordered it early and were promised our installation date to be accurate. Now they've added a month onto our installation date which we can't afford (in sense of needing the service, not money) since the people in our house work high IT jobs from home..

They've pretty much fucked us pretty badly because they said it would be OK to cancel our service from our current ISP.

I'm going to go full Karen on their ass.

NGL, I don't exactly want to say since they're very very local, I just know they're legitimate because the owner has owned many similar companies, but they're name specific in specific areas in the country... Soo yeah.

call them up, threaten legally even if you're not gonna do anything. It does wonders the minute anyone hears about lawyers.
