Introduction:
Hello readers, a little about myself and who I am before I begin the main part of this thread. My name is Flix, otherwise known as FlixionYT mainly in the factions community. I am 18 years old and I live in South Africa. I will be starting a degree in Computer Engineering at University next year. I speak very fluent English and to a certain degree, a bit of Dutch. I have been a member of MC Market since 2015.
Offering Services:
I am offering my skills as an Administrator or Community Manager for a Medium-Large Factions/HCF server. I am well skilled in multiple areas, those including but not limited to Plugin Configuration, PaperSpigot Configuration, Community Development, Forums Management, In-Game Management.
Past Experience:
1) Staff Experience on the SaiCoPvP Network
I began as a Trial Moderator back in late 2014 when the server was known as TheLegendCraft or CedgePvP and was run by a host of Owners, the main one being CreepersEdge (Ryan), the server then became known as the SaiCoPvP Network where I was promoted to a Moderator with various permissions such as Chat Control & Player Bans/Mutes. My cumulative staff experience on SaiCoPvP amounts to around 1 year. I recently resigned due to personal reasons but I have gained a wealth of experience during the time.
I have been a Minecraft player since the alpha days and as such I might dare call myself an expert in the game and its mechanics. My main area that I focused on was Factions and after playing multiple servers for over 2 years I am well educated in how these servers run and the game itself. I am well skilled at cannoning mainly and as such I successfully ran my own PaperSpigot 1.8 customized cannon test server where I configured the server to meet my needs and as such I have a lot of experience in configuring Factions as well as fixing configuration bugs related to it. I am also skilled in Java development however I have not gained experience in Minecraft development just yet.
I am typically looking for an already established server with an average player base that is professional and knows what they are doing. I will also however be willing to work with newer or beta servers that have unique ideas. The main requirement is professionalism and that is something I will not compromise on. I am looking for a paid position and this can be discussed privately. Should you like to test my skills I will be more than happy to oblidge but be reasonable of course. Depending on the type of job whether it be full time or not, I can dedicate my hours until the task at hand is completed so active time is not a problem for me, of course again this being within reason. - Vast experience with Xenforo and forums management. As a staff member I was responsible for dealing with issues such as keeping the forums clean, player reports, bug reports, etc... I am well skilled in handling a large amount of players making requests at once or should I rather say I am well skilled in multitasking. I know how to defuse hostility and aggression between players so that the problem or issue is solved with efficiency and professionalism.
- Chat control and server moderating. As a moderator on a network with well over 1000+ active players, moderating and keeping the server clean is a challenging task. I was given the following permissions as a staff member. (Ban, Mute, Warn, God), these equipped me to deal with players who broke the rules. I am also however well experienced in using WorldEdit, WorldGuard, Factions and various other faction plugins and setting up of their respective configurations.
- Team work. As a staff member on this large network, I worked with a team of around 30 staff members with various ranks and responsibilities. The main thing that a server requires to be successful is a management team that works efficiently and smoothly to complete tasks and solve issues. I was a part of such a team for over 1 year and as such I know the dynamics of how the team runs and I would be capable of managing or leading such a team.

- Plugin configuration. I can successfully configure PermissionsEx, Factions, Essentials, Paperspigot, Spigot, Bukkit, WorldEdit, and a vast number of other plugins. I can make these to suit the needs of the server when required.
