Hello could somebody please make me a plugin that will do the following

Add [] before and after the faction like [Mc-Market] but when you're in wilderness or it wont appear untill you make your factions thanks

He said he wanted a plugin what changes how the faction name looks in chat, not an entire factions plugin custom coded. That would cost loads.

I have seen lots of people wanted and probably someone will charge it do to just few things LOL.

Step 1

• It depends which Chat plugin are you using.(I'm gonna show you with default/EssentialsChat)

• Remember placeholder is "[FACTION]"

Step 3

• So let's say I want to be brackets dark gray color.

• chat:
    radius: 0
    format: "&8[[FACTION]&8]&r{DISPLAYNAME} &8\xbb &f{MESSAGE}"

  • That's my config in EssentialsChat. (Just an example)

That isn't what he asked. He wanted it so it wouldn't show the [] when the player isn't in a faction. Your above way still shows that.

In the screenshot you added it shows [] when the player isn't in a faction. And [Village] when the player is. The OP said

He wants it so it doesn't show [] when the player isn't in a faction, therefor your solution doesn't work as he requires it to do.

Thats possible in conf.json but then faction relation colors will be fu**ked up...

Might be the reason he is asking for a custom plugin, so he wouldn't have that problem

Danmmm everyone is getting confused i mean i would like it when they are in wilderness it doesn't show the [] and in a faction it will show [NAME] also how much would it cost to get it coded?
