Good afternoon players. Fantasy dungeons is a lore based modded faction server, based around doing quest, eradicating and exploring dungeons, and gathering rare material to go to go into war with. This server is a prequel of it's successor fantasy dungeons (which is under development). Though, working on these projects for years without a team has proven to be not too resourceful, and in every way it's extremely in-effecient. Scaling large projects takes a team of dedicated individuals that share the same motivation while minimizing demotivating factors, creating an efficient workforce. So we're looking for help from the already established Minecraft community to build a team that allow players and staff alike to utilize their time, and create a fun environment
I the OP, am looking for those who are interesting in writing quest dialogues, utilizing betterquesting, and helping with craft-tweaker. As well as I need helpers to help those that are new to modded servers, and have little knowledge of a completely new genre.
There are multiple roles available, and each require the user to create or have a discord account.
My discord is Swash#0427
Please contact me for an interview if you're interested
All who are wondering about pay? This will mostly be volunteer work until the server is generating a revenue. Each rank will make a specific amount per percentage that the server makes.
Why do I still keep the admin and gamemaster position open anyways without pay?
Well, because I can do them myself. So why hire people dedicated to multiple projects.
A helper is a user who helps guide players towards their goals. This being a modded server a helper is an extremely important role.
Mods can be exhausting, troublesome, and confusing to some. So anyone who takes on this roll will help keep players not only happy, but fulfilled with knowledge.
the RPG land is huge, 10,000 by 10,000 blocks of towns, custom terrain and pathways. Helpers can help those who wander.
Normally those who do well move up in ranks.
Helpers Ranks include the following side task they can pitch in as well, but not required:
-Quest line development
-Quest making
-uilding (I may have build teams in the future come in)
-NPC Creation
-NPC Quest creation
-Shop and currency evaluation
-Dungeon building
A moderator is a user who keeps the userbase in check. With Youtubers joining and a mass flow of players entering here and there, we need a group
of dedicated individuals to keep those with foul intent in check.
This role consist of muting, kicking, and sometimes banning those who break our laws.
If you want this role, please do know it requires the user to have a microphone, and to do their best to make non-biased decisions.
A single Administrator position exist and is rarely chosen by those who apply, with it's unrealistic unknown requirements + requiring a strict over the call interview.
This user is by far an extremely important asset in the server, with power to manipulate commands that allow him to moderate the staff team,
and come to decisions that don't require the gamemaster's decision.
The administrator is not on the staff team's side, nor the player and must be able to do their best to make non-biased decisions in situations where a staff member is acting out of line.
On-top of such a role, they are allowed to manipulate regions, help improve locations, work on scripting, NPC work, and Quest, as well as perform actions that help the server, and the team grow.
A GameMaster can only exist from strict criteria. A GameMaster has full access to server files, get their own MC server as I am a MC host, and only 1 other besides me can exist with the proper role. While this position is open, please keep in mind that it comes out a high cost.
Game Masters are required to pay 20% of server cost in order to help maintain it's structure. I own the dedicated server, yet maintenance cost can create 140 USD a month.
Benefits include 30% profit margins that the server creates, if any. Your own dedicated Minecraft server, and you get to deal with me nagging you all day.
You're required to moderate the team and respond to nearly any emergency situation if available, help config mods if incompatibilities exist, and help with marketing, advertising, and server management. It takes multiple interviews, and training that'll require a consistent schedule. You will also need to have the same ideals as me.
and finally, the server trailer:
