I prefer using discord app more than browsers

I'd highly recommend brave browser.

Discord will run fine on any modern browser, there won't be any noticeable difference when it comes to how it performs, all of the answers you'll get are just general preferences and have nothing to do with your question, which is weird to begin with but that's because you most likely want to get enough messages to access more forum sections.

If you, for some reason, can't use the discord app, I'd recommend Firefox because of their focus on privacy.

I have no idea why people think everyone's desperate to get messages.. but I suggest actually using Brave Browser, It's not necessarily faster (although it claims it is) but it does neat features like block YouTube ADS, and all ADS for that matter which can save loading time. Check it out!

Your opinion is right, Discord App is way better than Discord on Browser. Unfortunately, it requires more computer performance (CPU etc.) to use it than if i were to use it on Browser. My computer specs are not good and if i use the Discord App i am gonna drop frames while playing games, but Discord App may drop frames itself too some times, without having any other application running in the background.

opera gx is the browser I use

I use brave/operaGX
but gx works well , def recommend getting the client though
