FateMasks is a Minecraft plugin made for Version 1.8.9 that allows a server owner to create custom masks with unique effects and drop & dragging masks onto helmets!
Special shoutout to DiscoverCardOG for creating the graphics on this post.
Here's a list of the pre-made masks I created for the default configuration file.
With the Mask Shop you can sell your custom masks to players for in-game money.
Attachable Masks
Ability to attach masks to helmet with a configurable max amount of masks.
Custom Masks
Create your own masks in the configuration with different potion effects & custom effects like XP, damage buffs, take less damage and more! If you have any suggestions for a custom effect join the discord and open a ticket and I might be able to add it.
Mask Visual Override
With this feature the first mask attached to a helmet will override the visual look when someone is looking at you, it does not look like the mask on your screen just other player's screens.
Unable to place masks
Custom /near command
FateMasks has a custom /near command for the Ghost mask.
If someone is wearing a helmet with Ghost Mask attached then they will not show up on /near
/mask - Shows help menu (fatemasks.give)
/mask give <player> <mask/all> <amount> - Give a mask to a player (fatemasks.give)
/masks - Open the Mask Shop GUI (fatemasks.masks)
/near - Custom near command for the Ghost Mask (fatemasks.near)

To create your own custom mask you'll need a skin to use.
You can grab a skin from this website here: https://minecraft-heads.com
Scroll thru the thousands of minecraft head options and once you find one you like
click on it and then scroll down to the "For Developers" part and copy the value into the config.
Server using FateMasks! Come try out the custom masks in action on one of these servers.
