And to answer your question about rap, not everyone wants to listen to hum music. People like to get hyped and rap has the exact type of vibe, energy, and sound for that. That reason is solely why it’s the overall biggest music genre as of now

I feel like when I listen to any other genre the production really doesn’t match compared to the fast paced and hard hitting production rap has. Hence why songs like Old Town Road are topping the Country charts, people crave trap
