High performance, consistent uptime and fast support. Minecraft hosting that just works.

Not sure if Mac would have anything to do with this, I am using a Mac works perfectly fine. It is most likely the plugin he is using or version and if its a leaked one or official plugin

I've come across this issue before but it was a while ago. If I still remember correctly you replace the >> symbol with "\00BB".

Hopefully this helps. I don't know if this method works with featherboard though.

The character your trying to use is not supported with the current character set. Its probably your host running non utf-8

Actually using a mac can cause mysterious characters as such to appear ;)

No that isn't it. I've used the symbol many times with featherboard and I have had no problems with it.

After doing more research on the issue it is most likely what you are using to edit the file or how you are saving it as it looks like a utf8 encoding issue.

Another alternative is to do what I suggested before. I've seen people comment that it works on other forums.

If this problem still isn't solved feel free to PM me.

I've had this issue before. This happens when the string on a line of the board is too long. You are using too many characters, try make the line where the weird symbol is showing up shorter then reload. If this doesn't work I would be willing to look at your config file for you to see what's wrong! (for free)
Hope this helps,

MAC and older version of windows can have an impact on the symbols shown
