I liked the effects you used, but what makes edits impressive are mostly screen bumps synced with the song and also smooth lighting on goals/shots once a certain beat kicks in.
Also, try not to use too many effects, it makes the video more of the same around there, and I guess that's not what you want.

Keep improving.

Things like in the case of the paintball video. When a group rushed over a hill or during a large push you could try speeding up then slowing down.
