I'm here today to talk about a new server concept I've been playing around with for the past few days that I personally think has quite a lot of potential. I figured this would be a good place to gauge some more interest and try to get feedback on what could be added or changed about the idea to be more engaging.
This is a new casual server that I'll be making over the next few weeks along with some very talented artists, developers, and modellers. The idea behind the server is going to be to have 32 custom crops along with possibly custom trees and other farming-related functionality to create a server in the same vein as prison. Instead of ranking up to be able to mine in different warps, on Harvest.gg, you will rank up to be able to purchase better crops to plant on your farm. Each type of crop will vary based on the cost for seeds, time to grow, time to spoil, hoe experience, and the price they sell for.
Overall I'm very excited for the idea and think that it will all work really well if it's balanced correctly. I'm most hyped for the custom 3D models that we will be having for all 32 of our custom crops. Here's what our iron ingot crop is going to look like:
