Feedback on OVHCloud hosting?

What do you like or dislike about their VPS/Dedicated line? Any experience or opinion you can share is welcomed.

I've had no issues with their cloud services or bare metal. Both are great, and budget-friendly. The cloud interface is a bit sluggish and difficult to navigate, but the service works well. They are experts in the industry and have been around for a long time.

If you’re going to use solely OVH, take offsite backups to another provider. Don’t become the new Rust.

I’d also recommend finding a provider who has working fire suppression systems. Your data has value.

Given they are uber budget, their wood flooring and lack of fire suppression isn't all that bad. I would use them if I was poor.

Depends on the budget. If you're just starting out or have little to no budget, I'd go with OVH. Just make sure your backups are going off-site (ideally to another provider in another DC) and tested.

I got a 1 month refund from the SBG incident when I still have over 1 month prepaid for the hosting.
Can't really say I'm to pleased about that.

I host a small VPS at OVH for a dev server and licensing system - never had an issue with it. Nothing special, it just works.

Dedicated clients got 6 months. I'm very satisfied

Cons:
- Easy to make fraudulent purchases and theres no DDoS mitigation for internal attacks
- No metros in North America
- Bad support

Pros:
- Good price for the specs
