Feedback on trailer

Hey there,

I recently got the urge to go ahead with trying to create a trailer, I watched and read some tips on how to do different effects and it turned out looking like this.



I'm looking for feedback from both trailer creators and standard community members.
I really want to improve my work with trailer creation and see what I can really proceed with doing it. Also, I obviously don't charge for these as I'm learning but if you do own a server I would possible be able to create a trailer for that would be appreciated.

Go ahead and make the switch to After Effects instead of vegas, thats a good start if i were you

I personally like the choice of song, as well as how the text jumps to the beat. I think it's quite nice however I do not really have an eye for the small details that people are able to nit pick. Nonetheless very well done in my opinion.

Alright, woo a lot to say about this one.
Let's start off, the shaders are ugly, you didn't put a glow, nor any color corrections.
you HAVE to move to After Effects
why you might ask? you need that feature called "Time remapping"

The angles you recorded in all honesty look weird , they're boring, goofy and overall bad, you can learn from other talented creators we have here on the market, or just watch woodzy's trailers on repeat.

The text is boring, no animation or glow, a text animation is also a feature that comes with after effects.
YOU NEED RSMB!
You need that plugin in order to put motion blur on your trailers.

Make sure to install the sapphire plugin to use S_FLICKER , it makes the footage look more dramatic, don't overuse it but it does add a nice cinematic effect.

YOU HAVE TO RENDER RAW FOOTAGE AT 120FPS 2K! Why? Well, in order to create a slow-mo / zoom-ins with AE without damaging the quality of the footage.

Not sure why you used only zooms with the beat, it looked very random and made it look out of sync at some point, you can purchase shake presets online, make your own or beg people on the market, maybe even use the Twitch plugin, who knows, while it is good to maximize the use of the beats make sure it looks good or else it was for nothing.

Also, stop rolling so much in 1 single shot, it makes the viewer sick, confused and KILLS the flow, keep that in mind.

Sometimes, blocks got in your way and the camera went inside of them and don't be lazy. just make the entire shot again simply by saving it, so you can correct it and re-render it later.

Also, you focused too much on syncing the zooms forgetting to sync the shots properly with each other.

Overall, a beginner level trailer, nothing special or good about it, it's the beginning of your journey, just play around with AE and plugins, try to get yourself used to the working area.
