Just one tip:
When we are drawing and wants to add 'shader', we pick the color awe want to make it darker and instead of just going with with more black (in CMYK), it looks more natural to add some warmer color for darker/shadow areas and cooler colors for highlight.
Ex:
Instead of the letters going from yellow to yellow with black, it could go from yellow to orange and a little of black.

and not like this:
