Hello Minecraftians,

I'm creating this thread because I'm eager to hear what the MCM community thinks about my first YouTube video in quite a long time.

I took an extended break from YouTube and just got back to creating and uploading videos tonight.

I admittedly made a mistake with the dimensions recording which in turn screwed with the quality of the video once on YouTube and gave it rough black edges, but I'm asking that you overlook that for this thread because I've already recognized that mistake and give me input on the content itself and things of that sort.

I've gone ahead and embedded the video below. Basically it includes my Head Administrator and myself trolling a nooby player on our server.

In the same way, if you are a fan of something I do, I'd love to hear what you do like.

It sounds like I'm watching an amateur developer write code in front of people and keeps making mistakes.

Just try to sound more entertaining with your voice, speak louder and more joyfully if that makes any sense what-so-ever.

I was totally into what I was doing but I suppose I didn't come off that way. I'll be sure to try and sound extra engaged next time.

As an ex youtuber here is some feedback. This is going to be harsh.

1: You need to put more expression into your voice. Its currently as fun more fun to watch paint dry than to listen to you.

2: Background noise: I don't know if it was you or your friend that had the background noise with the keyboard but whoever it is needs to change their mic or change some settings in it.

3: Intro: You need to hire someone to make you an intro or you could even download a template.

4: Thumbnails: You need thumbnails as it makes you look more professional.

5: If there ever is anytime in the video were there is no commentary or anyone talking just cut that part out because its just boring for people to watch.

I appreciate the feedback, but I actually like her voice quality.

And I do agree that the beginning is childish but the big demographic for Minecraft videos is typically children so the idea was to cater to the audience.

Yeah, other than that I enjoyed the video, but personally I still watch minecraft sometimes but clickaway if the person sounds the least bit childish because it just doesn't suit my tastes, btw ur really nice, everyones verbally smashing you and your taking it strong

I don't look at it like anyone's verbally smashing me.

How are we expected to improve in this world if we cannot take criticism from others?

A desire for self improvement is one of the fundamental keys to success.
