Hi,

whenever I make a video in Final Cut Pro, while I'm making it, there are no black bars. But then, when I share it to YouTube, on YouTube, there are black bars at the top/bottom of the video.

Why is it doing this/how do I disable it? I used to be able to share videos without any black bars!

its resizing your video to keep its aspect ratio in tact so adding the bars at the top and bottom this video may help

google is your friend as this is a common issue with beginers for finalcur pro

You need a 16:9 ratio in your project settings, not sure how FCPX works - but that's how Premiere works.

Also - this sub-forum is for MC-Market questions.
