Do you not consider insurance on somthing like that at the age of 16? My first car was worth about £2000, It cost me just over £3000 to insure it for the first year.

So my car cost 32k. I have a the 2018 Camry XSE Fully loaded. Now 30k is a lot money to expect a teenager to have and it's true. I don't think you personally have 30k to spend on a car. If you do great, but don't show it. You don't want to publicly show what you have in a bank account. My parents don't expect me to pay a 30k car. Practically impossible for a college student. I'm pretty sure your parents are the one's paying for it. Unless you're hella rich, or yourgrandparents love you so much they give you personally about $1000 every time they visit (stereotyping here :p), you probably couldn't pay off that car for about 10+ years. The wage as a minor is quite different to the wage as an adult (out of college).

Always make the right decision when buying a car.

Tips when dealing with the car dealership:
- never show emotions towards the car. You may want to but that tells the dealer that you really like the car and he/she will think you'll pay whatever for it.
- Choose a starting price around 8k-10k below the MSRP. If it's about a 39k MSRP (my car), start around 30k or so.
- Find out how long it's been on the lot. Don't straight up ask but kind of ease in the question.
- your starting price isn't meant to be the price you will get it. We all could wish that happened but it doesn't. Slowly go up on the price. After about 30mins of arguing, meet somewhere in the middle or more on your side. Don't give the dealer the advantage.
- Remember things the dealer says to you. It can be personal things or informational. Sometimes you can use it against them. :)
- Test drive the car first. Don't walk and be like "I want this car for 29k". They won't deal with you. Why? Cause you already know what you want they expect you'll pay whatever for it
- if they refuse to deal, walk off the lot. They'll call back. View other dealerships. If one doesn't deal, I'm sure the other sure as hell will.

These are all the things i witnessed my dad do when getting my mom a car and me.

Good luck!
(Also take care of your car. Don't be the person who will never clean it and such).

My dad owns a car dealership but thanks for the tips :)[DOUBLEPOST=1538842237][/DOUBLEPOST]
You're a fucking retard if you buy your first car for the price, if you even get it insured the price would be mad, and as your first car you mostly likely will have a bump/crash. Doubt you have 30k to spend anyway, if you did you wouldn't still be doing shitty deals on a mc forum.

I buy and resell cars so that’s why I have a ton of money for it. $0 is to be spent no matter the circumstance
