Hello, I just have a mini story I want to share
Backstory
Around 4 months ago, I made some artwork for some guy on the internet. He seemed dodgy and it turns out he was banned on MCM. He scammed me and didn't pay for the artwork. Then, around 2 months later, he came back and paid me £15, which still wasn't the full price for the work. He said he would try and get the rest to me. Then, on the 27th (2 days ago) he messaged me through another Skype, and he agreed to pay an extra £10 for the art which I accepted. I stupidly agreed to do more art for him as I thought he had "redeemed" himself by paying me. I went away from my PC for a bit, and when I got home, he had be getting angry at me over Skype for not being home etc. Then, after I said I couldn't Skype call him that night, he got quite angry etc and just started being rude. This is when he threatened to charge back.
He then issued the chargeback, which was a total of £25, but it came to more, as I believe pay charged a fee? I'm not too sure. This is when I asked for help from Yung (Astronaut1) as he had experience with dealing with chargebacks. After using his help, I checked PayPal today and we were successful in winning the chargeback! The claim was decided in my favour! I am so grateful to Yung for helping me to win the claim! Honestly, one of the nicest people I have met on this site!
Obviously, I will probably have to face more chargebacks in the furute, but I think this is going to teach me to be more careful when dealing with clients.
I'm unsure whenever to post the users skype, I know he has multiple skype accounts, muplite mcm's and alot of Paypal accounts, so I can make a list if need be
