Hello everyone! This is the first trailer I ever made and it's for my upcoming survival server.
Please tell me what you think and all that good stuff below! :D

I like it! It’s a great first trailer and certainly catches my attentions. Do you currently do freelance commission or resume-building work?
I might do! :D Add me on discord if you might be interested

Its decent, ill be honest though it looks very amateur just because you don't use replay mod. I can tell you're flying in f1 and i feel when you sprint or shift and it really takes me out of what I was thinking

It's an okay attempt for a first trailer but yeah I would also recommend using replay mod and make sure you match the scenes and cuts of the clips to the sound track as whenever you did a cut it was not on the beat of the sound track which is really not good for keeping the audience engaged to keep watching the trailer. Also, try using actual transitions rather then just cuts. One suggestion would be when you want to display text on screen rather then just showing it do a transition to like a black screen or something and there display the text and after that show the clip that is associated with that text. I am not hating it, just trying to give you some advice.

Thanks a ton! Will take that into count!

For a first trailer. It is okay, as a editor there is a few things you could've done.
1. Instead of moving your mouse around for the spins around the hub from what it looks like. You could've just used a 4 keyframes to have it zoom in and out + also rotate around.
2. As much as you wanna showcase the actual work (which looks pretty nice) you could've showed each pathway as a "choose your path" type of deal with text which is motion tracked on the walls. Also a better font would be better
3. It is a bit to long for a trailer IMO, keep it around 30-45 secs, showcase the best bits of the builds, kits etc
4. Colour correction, A darker tone would've looked nicer in the spiral at the start and going over the buildings could've looked better with more colour depth.
5. Transitions, These are kinda simple now. Just when your done filming part of that showcase, basically spin your mouse as fast as you can, then when recording another bit start by doing a quick 90 degree turn as fast as you can and cut it in so it looks smooth. You can also do this with transitions but it doesn't look as clean.

Overall as a first product. It isn't the worst by far, but it isn't the best. It displays all the parts of the server and gives a cool narrative. Keeping the person watching intrested is a key factor of trailers. As keeping them intrested to the end will make them more likely to join the server and play there. I would suggest to possibly spent $15-20 on a server trailer & $35-4 on new graphics. If you don't wanna do this. Go onto YouTube and watch tutorials about graphics and server trialers. So if the server never ends up becoming popular with players and is stuck on 0 players 24/7, you can use those skills on here and earn cash to keep the server operational.

Best of luck with your server though! I hope it succeeds.

Thanks a bunch for the tips! <3 . Will take all of that into count! Server's doing decent ATM, does stand on 0 players until afternoon US time, then it gets up to 10 players. Got some pretty decent donations also.
