Hello people!

My name is Sylver and I would like to get more into fitness more specifically lifting. Currently I am not able to go to the gym in the place I recently moved too. I did find an old set of dumbells each adjustable to max 10kg. I was hoping anyone here could help me out doing some research, possibly give me some tips including on the (diet) I will be following and hopefully help me make a good workout plan with just the dumbells. Soon I will be going to the gym but that will probably have to wait around 3 months. My main focus right now is: Improving overall strength, gain weight, gain muscles (also look more muscular) and I am also trying to get an over-all better and more disciplined mindset and I believe this will help me achieve the current goals for my future.

I'm starting the no sugar diet, super hard to do. I've done it for about two weeks and I can see changes in my face. It has become slimmer, I feel better, more energy, not for the weak I would say.

The Fasting Diet but also calorie counting can help. I mainly done it to lose wait but a lot of people do it for fitness for gaining muscle and training. But you could also look at high protent or carbs as well.

Already tracking my calories with an app, currently taking 4000 calories a day. Works great for a calorie deficit but also definitely for a calorie surplus diet.

I started lifting while only using dumbbell, a few exercises I would go through every day were Chest and Tricep Floor Presses, Cross Face Tricep Extensions, Curls (Squeeze Curls are good if you only have 1 dumbbell), 3 Point Rows, Elevated Squats (elevate your heels on something so they are a little off the ground, you will get more of a workout). These are just 5 easy exercises you should be able to do anywhere.

gym lifestyle is not a race it's marathon start with the little things and life toward it the rest come from it alone

Just watch exercises with dumbbells on YouTube and just repeat. Start with a light weight and gradually increase it as your strength increases. Perform 3-4 sets of 8-12 repetitions for each exercise.
