Fix your warning system.

This has been broken for the longest time.

Calling someone 'retarded' should not be a 5 point warning, that is how you know this system is broken.
Now that you've raised the time people have to serve suspensions for, it's just made the site terrible.

I propose: Lower the points for each warning, disrespect/hate/harassment should be like 3/4 not 5.
OR
Lower the suspension times again, it's unbearable, especially when the suspension system is broken too lmao.

We need competent Staff who understand what's expected of them and are able to do their jobs correctly. The majority of Staff (e.g doge) on here are exceptional, but one or two (And they know that I'm talking about them) are downright disgraceful, issuing false warnings and refusing to respond to private messages concerning them, as well as being downright stupid with their responses to threads and being unable to perform their moderation duties correctly.

I agree that this site needs understand staff, but It's kinda funny how you call other staff members disgraceful and 'issuing false warning' when the guy that you call "exceptional" falsely warned me before and it got removed, and and it's more funny because when he did I talked to him in the PM and he kept arguing the stopped responding until I invited mick to the convo.

Getting 5 warning points for calling someone 'retarded' is one thing, but getting 5 warning points for satirically calling a good friend 'retarded' is something else entirely (And yes, this happened to me and I was falsely suspended. My first suspension in my 1.6 years onsite), especially when the Moderator giving the warnings is a complete hypocrite who has used synonyms of retarded in posts before, but instead of labeling individuals as retarded, they've gone and labelled entire groups (in this case it was people with autism) as retarded and "at the bottom of the food chain".

I don't really mind how long suspensions are, just fix the warning system so that you have to actually do something that's clearly wrong in order to get a suspension, instead of some of the most 'law-abiding' members ending up with suspensions due to satirical comments that fly over the heads of incompetent staff members.

I disagree, I feel that suspension time should be lowered, I don't know see how hurting some one is 'sarcastic'.

Solution = Make most warning points expire after X months, make sure Staff all agree on what warrants a warning and what doesn't, make sure your Staff respond to PM's concerning warnings instead of acting tyrannically (giving warnings and ignoring PM's refuting them) and last but not least, make sure the amount of points for each act of breaking the rules makes sense, as intnetional spam giving less points than the word "retard" is, to put it simply, a joke.

Warning already expires, but it's stupid which one does, I got "1" warning points for necro-posting which expires in like november, which just completely stupid, I've 9 warning actions, and only one of them which costs 1 one point is gonna expire, so I agree with that point, also It's funny how you say that spamming not just spamming but intentional gives you less points, when I got 6 points for posting 4 lines in the shoutbox when I really didn't mean to spam, also once again I don't really see how calling someone a retard is a joke, that's just stupid to say that.

I myself was given 5 warning points for saying "ur retarded" to Asa as a satirical comment on his status of "imagine being suspended for calling someone retarded". The Moderator then (for the second time, as this has happened with him before) ignored all my PM's about it, even though in the warning message he said feel free to Private message me about it. I don't care about how Asa got his points of what he did, but in my case I was indeed given 5 warning points for simply saying "ur retarded" in a clearly sarcastic way on a clearly satirical post.

People who've been suspended are supporting this suggestion.
Staff and people who were victimized are not supporting it. Obviously.
Now, the solution I can see here is to get rid of the bias. asa, you shouldn't just supply your own evidence, supply some evidence from other people who were suspended from this "broken" warning system.
Staff that have replied, and people who caused these suspensions are obviously not against the warning system, or not as much as someone who was directly effected by it.
You guys were too busy arguing that you didn't think about the correct facts on both sides of the spectrum. Sure, Mick, people shouldn't be on the forum if they're toxic, but also keep in mind the fact that asa was suspended rather unfairly, as some people received less hefty warning points for the same exact actions.

TL;DR: Everyone who's stated their opinion would be correct if they would just stop being bias.
