Hello, I am currently trying too edit some messages for my server, whenever I try too change the unknown command msg, my server keeps on crashing and restarting, here is an unedited spigot.yml!


But when I change the unknown-command to &a&lDemented &8// &7Unknown command., everything gets fucked up..

Also, I stopped the server and then edited it, so that cannot be the problem.

Post the stack-trace. If you can't figure it out you can always listen for outgoing chat packets, check whether they are the unknown command message, and manually change them.

Yeah I guess. In that case just post the entire startup log.

This exact same thing happened to me. Instead of using &8 you have to use §8. Delete the Spigot.yml, restart your server, then configure it the right way.

Your YAML is incorrect. Try surrounding it with single quotations.
