For you guys with drones

Has anyone ever had the syma x8c? I recently ordered it for recording for fun. I know it is not for good recordings but i'm planning on putting my xiaomi Yi on it. If you have had it, have you ever had a crash for no reason? Also, what is the max altitude?

Had the Syma X8C however it is honestly terrible, its more or less a beginner drone which isnt going to survive too many flights. Max altitude is about 20-25 metres up (reasonably before you lose all connection to the drone). I would not recommend buying it. You should look to buy something like a Dji Inspire or Phantom

I've seen tons of videos of people flying it over 100 meters. Are you sure you had the syma x8c venture?

I looked into it a bit just now and I really wouldn’t recommend it. I don’t really film on my quad... I find it more enjoyable to shoot down paths and between trees at 40-50 mph

Yeah most likely they have range extenders on the controller.
