Forge 1.8 + Bukkit?

Hey, I was wondering if there's a way to get a forge server ( for example, Pixelmon ) to work with Bukkit plugins on 1.8.9?

I know that on 1.7.10 there was KCauldron and Thermos, however, they do not work on 1.8.9.

Any alternatives?

I've been attempting to avoid sponge, but if it's what I must use, then I shall.

The only one I know is Cauldron, I'm about clueless after that.

KCauldron is the same as Cauldron, just updated. Albeit, neither are available for 1.8 to my knowledge.
