We should try to keep it that way and not try to change the site and what is it for.

Fortnite is not gonna be anywhere near permanent enough to make a dedicated section for. It can stay where the steam accounts etc go, in the Misc or Other section outside the Minecraft part of the site. Those are the only place they belong. Anywhere else, report them and they should be moved.

Due to a mass amount of popularity, a discord place was added. Why can't there be a fortnite one since it is in the same situation?

Because Fortnite will die down quickly, like PUBG, it used to be popular asf, but it was gone within 6 months.

Which is the whole point — that it will die out, so don't add it. We've made our mistake with Discord already.

The whole reason why I added that comparison is because the discord market fell out, and the section was not removed after that happened. If that section should be allowed to stay, this one should be allowed to be added

Why would the admins of MCM consider to do that when this is a Minecraft marketplace? I don't get it this site was originally created so people could trade within minecraft and now it has other games attached to it.
