Fortnite Error

So I'm trying to trade accounts with somebody but we get an Error. I'm on PC of course and he's on Xbox one, I can login to his account with Epic games and play on PC fine but when he logs into my account and his Xbox account gets linked with Epic games It gives him an Error saying something like 'This Account cannot play on this Platform', I need advice

I don't know what you mean by that, The only thing we did is his xbox account is linked to my Epic games account

You have to remove your link from the account before he can link it to his.

What do you mean by that? I play on PC so nothing is linked with my Epic games account but when he logs onto it from Xbox it links his xbox acc with my epic games acc so he can play but he gets an error
