Gaming isn't focused on any game now,with disappointing games like BF5 and CoD blackops III (That all replaced amazing stuff with a crap battle royale) I don't think there's anything right now, people just play a bunch of random games, Fortnite is dying quickly but who knows what will come after it.
About the death of minecraft, the community was weak in the past 1 year but it will never die because of a new trend (Same thing was said about OverWatch replacing Minecraft)

No, Minecraft stats are nowhere near dead. There are always new kids (2 Births every 5 seconds, yes?) who will love Minecraft and Roblox and if they're cancerous enough maybe even fortnite.
