Forum based software

Hello - I’m fairly new to this community and this probably isn’t the best place to post it; Would a cheap but very reliable and advanced custom forum software be in demand at all? I’m willing to make and sell it if people want it, but wasn’t sure if it’s in demand at all.

There are quite a few free forum softwares available, some of which are really good. Maybe something that allows you to design the forum easier (drag and drop, no coding required for themes)? Other than that, I believe that it can be quite hard to compete with the alternatives on the market atm.
