FPSHelper is a small plugin which allows users with less powerful computers toggle the visibility of certain things which can massively impact their FPS while using large cannons or spending time in large factions bases. It utilises ProtocolLib to prevent the server from sending certain packets to clients who have opted out of receiving them, and will not impact server performance, or affect the functioning of cannons on your server.

The plugin started off as being just for cannoning, however, with feedback from buyers, I have added a lot more toggles and have plans to add more in the future. The FPS increase this plugin can offer users with underpowered computers is absolutely huge.

Currently it has the ability to toggle:
  • Sand Entities
  • TNT Entities
  • Piston Animations
  • Mobs
  • Spawner Blocks
  • Particles
  • More to come!
All messages are configurable.

If anyone has any suggestions for things that could be added to this list, I am willing to add them.

Here is a video demonstration of the plugin in action (old version with just sand/tnt/pistons):

Current GUI (making it customiseable in the future):

Config:
Code:
gui:
  name: '&9FPSHelper'

spawnerMaterial: STONE #Replace spawners with this material
spawnerData: 0 #Metadata for material above

messages:
  prefix: '&7[&9FPS&7] '
noPermission: '&cYou do not have permission to do this.'
toggleOff: '&aYou will now see %type% again.'
toggleOn: '&aYou will no longer see %type%.'

This plugin has been tested on PaperSpigot 1.8.8, however, it should work on any version ProtocolLib supports.

ProtocolLib is required to run this plugin!

Looks nice vc copy?
Had a decent amount of purchases, already has 6 good reviews. No need for vouch copies. Vouches mean nothing on here anyway, just a popularity contest.

I just updated this plugin with some major performance improvements, and a new feature.

The plugin now allows you to specify a worldguard region in which players are hidden. Handy to fix FPS lag during SOTW.
