For the free website it will be 2 hours as well, we recommend using freenom to get a free domain to use for the website.

Why would you use 4 drives in raid 1, that would bog down the read/write by a lot, why not something like a raid 1+0 configuration?

Well starting off, Its web hosting or a 512 MB minecraft server for two hours. I VERY highly doubt that you need 1gbps of R&W speed.
Secondly its web hosting(said that already i know.), generally a customer would prefer data security for this type of stuff.

Great question. We currently use CloudFlare for our DDoS protection.

Ya so CloudFlare does not work to DDoS protect Minecraft servers. CloudFlare is primarily used to DDoS protect websites.

Additionally, MyServerPlanet, the server provider that we all know you get your server(s) from does not offer DDoS protection (to the best of my knowledge).
