Hey there. My name is Goku, and today: I'm showing you guys my plugin - funcommands.

You bored? Wanna have some fun? This is the solution for you!

Here's the link:

Commands:

- launch (Launches a player into the air) | Args: /launch [player] (launches a player in the air) | /launch [player] [height] (since the velocity of the player is modified by ten, this is the height it will go instead of 10).

- quote(Makes you or a player quote something). | ARGS: /quote, /quote [player]. This will make them quote something from the configuration file provided.

-spam(Spams a player). | ARGS: /spam [player] [message]. Once you've done this, to stop it, just do /spam [player].

-reverse(Makes a player speak in reverse) | Args:/reverse [player], Once you've done this, it will make you reverse your messages. To stop it, you do it once again.

And that's it! Enjoy :)!
(If you guys like it, make sure to leave a reaction or something!)

I am. I'm making an HCF core. This is just to prove that I can actually do something.

Thanks. It means a ton to me. I'm used to working on minecraftforums(apparently that's a laughing matter here but for me it was one of the best places to have fun on) and making private plugins for myself and a group of friends, but selling them was the push I needed into eventually starting a business.

Well it's not funny. Some people here started with stealing other plugins and then started to make their own (Not accusing anyone)
and minecraftforums isn't a bad start
i repeat again this is a really good beginning for a new Member.

Wanna release source code?

Don't have too if you don't want, I'm just curious.
Oh, sure. The commands could use some improvement, but after making the entire command system I was lazy to finish the plugin haha. Click!

(i use tabs for spaces sometimes, I'm inconsistent sometimes, haha)

I've never used commands like that. I usually just use the CommandExecutor and register commands like that. What's the difference between them? If there is any.

Oh, I like to reduce boilerplate code. I'm a neat freak, so you'll find me doing even the most overkill things for the simplest of tasks just to make my job cleaner.

I don't see how your method is any less code than simply doing getCommand("command").setExecutor(new CommandExecutor());

But whatever, you do you :)

Nono, it's just, what I'm reducing is:
Permission checks
Argument checks
Boilerplate code

and what I mostly like about this:

Using JUST an annotation to make a command gets me hard.

(also you can do registerCommand anywhere you want and that is just like getCommand#setExecutor)

fair enough, I've never had any problems with thinking my commands are too much code as I don't really make commands use arguments most of the time.

A lot of stuff I've made are made to work alone on a server, without a bunch of other plugins that may interfere with the commands. So I just do new commands If I need a command instead of having a big cluster of arguments to differentiate between the commands that are needed. for example. I do /join,/leave, /party instead of doing /pn join, /pn leave, /pn party etc.

I mostly work with minigames and try to keep my commands short or not needed at all.

Ooooh. Welp, I work with commands and arguments a lot, and I'm adding subcommand support to the neat system I made too.
Thanks for the criticism though, I know that for a plugin like this it was overkill, but I like how it turned out :3.

It's only overkill if you code it by hand every time. I have a bunch of stuff saved as presets I copy in. So I don't start every plugin from scratch. and can use general functions easily.

Oh, no, absolutely not. I don't write the code from scratch every time. I have a template for myself and larger plugins.
