Hello server owners! Welcome to my official management thread. I am a highly professional manager with lots of experience. I work free of charge.
Experience:
As I have said before, I have had lots of experience with server Management. The first server I would like to talk about is SpartanCraft. SpartanCraft was a server that launched about 2-3 years ago, when I was first starting Minecraft. I played on there everyday after school, and applied to be helper. Keep in mind, this server is a survival server. At the time, the server was averaging around 7-10 people on at a time, which was pretty big to me at the time. After I applied, I was accepted and was a mod. I had thought of some good things to help benefit the server such as a few minigames like spleef and parkour. Because of me making the server more interesting not only to the regular player-base, but to the staff and owner as well, I earned myself manager. Whilst my time being manager. I built a few PvP arenas and plugins and the server had started to gain more popularity. During my time of being manager, the server hopped up to about 70 players on at a time and I was happy with the way the server was. Unfortunately, the server has since then shut down because of a bug that was found in some of the plugins.
The next server I would like to bring up is KillingZone. KillingZone was created about 10 months ago, a server that I had found on Planetminecraft. Once I joined the server, I played on there for about 1-3 months, then applied for the Manager position. I was logging on one day and found out that I had been promoted and I was enlivened. This was the first semi-large server that I had been staff on. At the time of my promotion, the server was averaging a steady 20-30 players. As the server grew over time and I helped as manager, it grew at its max point containing 250 steady players. With 250 active players, there were only 4 staff members. The owner, a manager (Me), an administrator, a moderator and a helper. The only staff who were really active on the server was the moderator, myself and the owner. The administrator didn't seem to show up too often, I figured he was just doing plugin work. This server taught me how to stay calm while being barraged with questions and other things affiliated with the server. The server has since then shut down because the owner couldn't compile enough money to pay for the server bill.
The next server I'd like to talk about is Daegonner. Daegonner launched in August of 2012 and I have played on it since then. When Daegonner first launched, it was averaging around 90 players at a time. I played on Daegonner almost everyday for around 2 years, given that I would go for a reset and come back. I was promoted to Manager soon after making my application. Daegonner grew to a large database of 300 people. I spent a lot of time inviting youtubers and hiring professional staff. Daegonner has taught me how to deal with people who flame consistently and people who try to get a rise out of other people by insulting or other things like that.
The next server I would like to bring up has been my all-time favorite server to be staff on. This server was called Dragon-Storms PvP. On DragonStorms, I started playing around mid 2015. I played on this server consistently and showed that I was committed to helping the server grow and gain popularity. After applying on the forums when the server had around 40 players on, I was accepted. As the server grew, I grew into a more mature, helping person. At the beginning of my staffing term, I wasn't totally mature enough to handle some of the content that would come up on the server, but as time grew, my maturity level grew and I got to the point to where I could handle things that require a higher maturity level. I was promoted to moderator after proving that I was going to be consistently active and helping in the community. At this point, the server was averaging around 100 players and they were all fairly active. I was on at almost anytime that I could get on. Since the player to staff count was not proportionate, other staff were recruited. But during the time of not having very many staff, I had lots of people asking me questions, asking for Buycraft help and trying to get me to catch hackers. Through all this, I learned how to prioritize my issues, first starting with Buycraft help, then in-game server help, then going to inspect who was "hacking" at the PvP arena. I can use the prioritizing skills on other servers to help players who are in need. Soon after helping out for a long time, I was promoted to Manager and was given an immense job. My job was to increase the server's popularity with around $750 in donations. I was given about $500 to hire youtubers and buy advertisements. I decided I would buy an advertising slot on a Minecraft server listing website. The weekend I bought it, it was about $60 per hour and I rented the slot for 4 hours and returned $260 back to the owner. I will never forget that weekend. During that weekend, the popularity sky-rocketed from a descent 100 players to an enormous 400-600 players. All of the 8 staff members consisting of moderators and helpers were on to aid us Administrative team in helping.
The final server I would like to talk to you about is PvP.Zone. I started playing on this server about a month ago. On release we had around 200 players on. I hired youtubers to make a series on our server. This one is very short since PvP.Zone has been bought by ItsSpaceOG and TramaMC, and all the staff have left.
Overall, my staffing experience has been a journey of learning. I have learned how to work with people and I have developed very good people skills, meaning I can work with people, compensate and help people. I can also multitask, by helping a certain player with one issue and helping a different player with another problem.
What I can do for you:
I will handle server issues, help out players, build upon the community, and strengthen your server's experience. Also, I will handle forum issues and to help out the owner in any way possible. I will also be responsible for giving advice to the owners and providing him/her with the necessary contacts in the necessary situation.
As manager, I will post constant updates on the forums, and hand the staff-team with respectable manner. I will also be responsible for planning events and helping out the owner during Staff-Meetings. At the end of every month, I will go through the list of feedbacks given by players and bring them up during Meetings. I will also look through staff/youtube/developer applications and hire staff based on these requirements:
Youtubers
Developers
Web-Developers
Have a good day!
