You don't need 80+ rep, I started MMing at 19 rep. I'm not saying that everyone at 20 rep should start MMing but I felt well-known and trusted enough in the community to start up my service. I've handled over 1k at 19 rep and most people at 50+ rep havn't handled more than 300-200ish.
